As we go through one of the shortest weeks of the school year we want to remember the meaning of the season. What are you thankful for? I really thought about it and Thanksgiving implies giving not receiving. It is one thing to be thankful for what you have received but how do we show that thankfulness.

As I mentioned in the last post this really is a season of giving and we are taking a special focus on that. We blessed others far away with Operation Christmas Child and we are blessing families in our own community with First Fruits (Donations still accepted). What are ways that you show your thankfulness? What are some other ways you can think of that we can show our gratitude to a God that has blessed us beyond measure and shows us grace daily? We live in such a beautiful place yet there is still so much ugly in the world. How do we become better people and stewards to these gifts?
